Yates Transit Service
A Community Riding Together.
We at Yates Transit Service want to thank the community for your support the last 9 years.
Following an 8-4 vote by the Yates County Legislature on October 14, 2025, Regional Transit Service (RTS) was approved to begin preparing to launch new transportation services in Yates County. Yates Transit Service (YTS) would like to thank Legislators Terry Button, Richard Willson, Daniel Banach, and Jesse Jayne for their continued support through this process.
YTS has proudly served Yates County for nine years, providing safe, reliable transportation to residents, businesses, and organizations throughout the region. We are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and collaboration shown by the community, and our dedicated ridership.
Over the years, YTS has actively contributed to Yates County by partnering with and supporting numerous local organizations, schools, and nonprofits such as Yates County Chamber of Commerce, St. Michaels School, and Mozaic’s Duck Race. Being part of Yates County has been an honor and a privilege, and we will still be involved and have a presence in Yates County as we continue to transport individuals who receive services from our parent company, Mozaic.
We have cherished being involved in everyday life in Yates County. Whether helping current residents or out-of-town travelers visit local shops or being your transportation to and from appointments we appreciate having had the opportunity to serve you.

Formed in 2017 at the request of Yates County legislators who sought to create a public transportation system for county residents, Yates Transit Service (YTS) utilizes a mixture of company-owned and state-leased vehicles to meet the needs of the community.
YTS safely transports Mozaic (a branch of the Arc New York) clientele every weekday, as well as follows a variety of specified public routes.
There are five main routes which run twice daily, covering approximately 700 miles through Geneva, Dundee, Naples, Rushville, and Dresden. YTS also offers midday runs through Penn Yan and Dundee.
