Yates Transit Service provides affordable public transportation for Yates and surrounding counties. Find our routes here.
Affordable
Bus fare is only $1 each way and can be purchased on the bus.
For information regarding our route deviation service, reasonable modifications, and/or customer feedback, contact Customer Service. Route deviation requests must be made at least two business days prior to the planned trip. Route deviation fare is $2 and service is available to anyone within a quarter mile of the published route.

Company Passes
Businesses interested in purchasing large quantities of passes should contact Customer Service at 315-694-7700 or customerservice@yatestransit.com
Passengers should wait at a designated bus stop or curbside along the route at least ten minutes prior to the scheduled time. Passengers waiting curbside must be on the same side of the road that the bus is traveling. The bus will not stop for passengers flagging from the opposite side of the road.
Please have your fare ready and promptly take a seat upon boarding. If all seats are taken, passengers may stand in the aisle between the seats.
As a courtesy please leave preferential seating available for elderly or disabled passengers.
